On the 18th of October 2005, Air Berlin celebrated the addition of the first new Airbus A320 to its fleet. The event took place at Hangar 2 at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin.

flora&fauna visions, once again working together with BUREAU.FJM, supplied a visual concept entitled ‘Fly into the Sunshine’ that featured large-scale rear projection for the stage. The content for this screen was a mixture of live camera footage from the event and from the stage show and specially produced video material. We additionally supplied a giant slide panorama along two sides of the hangar, which we accomplished using large Pani projectors. This panorama changed continuously throughout the course of the evening. An installation comprising of 6 horizontal video projection screens suspended from the ceiling and 10 plasma monitors rounded up our visual work at the event.
