Switzerland’s first point of call for all things car-related, AMAG commands some impressive facts and figures. The prime outlet for all vehicles from the VW group, it sell’s a cool quarter of the country’s total market share. And if that’s not enough reason for celebration, April 7th, 2011 also saw the inauguration of the company’s brand new architecutural masterpiece..
A piece of landmark architecture, the creators went all out for this exceptional structure: seemingly floating above its surroundings, it sports a striking outer exterior – and an equally impressive interior, characterised by unexpected angles and slanted surfaces.
To mark this inaugural event – celebrated by 200 select guests – flora&faunavisions joined lead agency standing ovation to craft an equally one-of-a-kind stage/screen set-up that would reflect the building’s statement structure, pick up on its exceptional architecture in visual content screened throughout the night and accompany the event’s varied and fast-paced mix of speeches, show acts and presenters. A carefully fine-tuned amalgamate of design and choreography, backdrop and contents, the resulting mix underscored on the venue’s unique spatial properties by weaving the building’s seemingly weightless appearance into the night’s visual theme.
Part of the package and encompassing experience: a dedicated welcome trailer, several presenter backdrops, a bespoke AMAG image clip and soundtrack covering the company’s history from launch all the way to the present day, speech backdrops, dinner environments to show off each and every VW sub brand – from Seat to Skoda – in its own habitat with animated beauty shots … hang on, we’re not finished yet! In a final, enchanting twist, the ffv show act visuals transformed the venue from daytime view to nocturnal sky in a gradual 15-minute time-lapse sequence: a fitting finale and welcome respite from the day’s business, rounded off with a gracious thank you loop.
