‘By Night Jette’ is the latest addition to the Lancaster/ Coty fragrance range and follows up their bestselling ‘Jette’ fragrance. To celebrate the product launch for the German market, a gala launch event took place in Munich on the 30th of May 2006 with a generous number of press and celebrities in attendance.

flora&faunavisions was approached to supply visual installations for the event, which took place at Nektar, a fashionable the restaurant-club location.Working within the framework of the existing architectural detail, we came up with a visual concept that made use of the special features of the space and which was designed to fit the available projection surfaces perfectly. Our concept combined three semi-circular video projections on the end walls of three rooms with vaulted ceilings and a full-coverage ceiling projection in these rooms using slide projectors loaded with multiple images and digital controlling. Additionally we had individual TFT Monitors that were scattered throughout the space. We produced two separate video loops for the installation, the first being an image film that handled Jette Joop’s persona and which reflected her multi-faceted approach to design. The second loop was a film that depicted the new product and contained elements of the key visual from the ATL campaign combined with our interpretation of the ‘Jette By Night’ brand message. Our slides concentrated on typographic content and featured the fragrance’s various ingredients.

In close cooperation with Nektar’s in-house lighting designer and using the house’s excellent equipment, we carefully adjusted the lighting to perfectly compliment our projections.
