In the spring of 2004, Berlin-based producer team Märtini Brös approached us and asked us to develop a visual concept that would accompany the release of their latest album, “Love The Machines�?. Our client was looking for a visual take on each track on the album. We approached this brief by developing short screenplays that were then storyboarded. We then built classic graphic animations and supplemented them with video footage that we shot in our studio and on location. We ended up with what amounted to a music video clip for each track on the album. These clips were incorporated into the website in the form of an e-card. Our clients then took the project a stage further by asking us to form this material into a DVD that could be played in real time to accompany their live performances. This was the beginning of an ongoing co-operation.
