For the start of the World Cup year, PUMA has partnered with Kehinde Wiley, one of the world's most sought-after artists, and commissioned him to create four original works of art inspired by three of football's most decorated players. For the reveal of his Unity portrait and to present the new PUMA Africa lifestyle collection the Sportlifestyle brand teamed up with flora&faunavisions to create a splendid launch party in the Appel Design Gallery during Berlin's Fashionweek.

On location the invited 300 VIP and press guests were welcomed with a stunning facade projection of a large-scale PUMA Cat jumping over the opposite building's balcony. Inside, the guests enjoyed themselves with African inspired catering and drinks, a smooth DJ set and above all the revealed Unity Portrait (3 x 4 metres) as well as the artist Kehinde Wiley himself.

Apart from the painting the exhibition featured a film about the creation of the commissioned paintings and Wiley's partnership with PUMA, a collection of behind the scenes images documenting the video shoot as well as a glossy presentation of the PUMA Africa lifestyle collection 2010 showcasing apparel, footwear and accessories in slick and state-of-the-art perspex cubes and hanging sheets.

This exhibition concept will now travel to Paris, London, New York, Beijing, Tokyo and Milan, ending in South Africa in June for the World Cup.
