Let’s party in style!
A standout event in Berlin’s hectic Fashion Week calendar, Rudolf Dassler by Puma drew the assembled style elite to a flagship party at the PUMA label’s own flagship store in West Berlin.
Just a stone’s throw away from the city’s famous Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the flora&faunavisions-curated event saw 1,200 movers, shakers, retailers and press rubbing shoulders with the brand’s latest collection.
Adding subtle tweaks to the store’s interior with 3-metre panels of the new range and sound installations by Modular, ffv gave Berlin a welcome refresher course to what streetstyle should be all about: authentic fun and wild abandon! In this spirit, PUMA reached out to the public, with two large screens and powerful speakers projecting visuals and music out onto the street.
Whipped into a sweaty frenzy by Berlin’s own Broken Hearts Club crew, the crowd soon spilled out onto the pavement to dance through a summer thunderstorm. Meanwhile, down in the basement and all the way from New Zealand, New Wave vixen Ladyhawke prepped Dassler fans for the evening’s final attraction: a DJ set by Hot Chip’s eclectic mastermind Joe Goddard.
A full-service event by flora&faunavisions, from guest list and catering to technology and event design, the party proved a rousing success. By the time the last beats wound down, the guests left with a welcome reminder of Rudolf Dassler’s latest collection – and some cool vouchers to sweeten the deal!
